Terms of service

Effective July 17, 2026

These terms cover youdontevenhear.me and its subdomains, including the YDEHM clipping platform ("YDEHM", "we"). By using the site or creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

The service

The clipping platform lets you join campaigns: you create and post short clips from source material we provide, submit the links here, and earn money based on the verified performance of those clips, under the rates and rules stated on each campaign.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials to yourself; you're responsible for activity on your account.
• You must be old enough to use the platforms you clip for, and receiving payouts requires that you're legally able to enter into this agreement (or have a parent or guardian do so for you).
• One account per person. Accounts are not transferable.

Campaign rules and earnings

• Each campaign page states its rates, eligible platforms, minimum thresholds, per-clip caps, budget pool, and timeline. Those terms govern that campaign.
• Earnings are calculated from metrics we verify through the platforms' APIs — not from screenshots or self-reported numbers.
• Campaign budgets are finite: once a campaign's pool is exhausted, no further earnings accrue, and payouts are settled after the campaign's hold window so platform view corrections can land first.
• A submitted clip must be your own work, posted by you, and must follow the campaign brief, the source material's usage rules, and the host platform's rules.
• Taxes on your earnings are your responsibility. Payouts are processed by a third-party payment provider under its own terms, and may require identity verification.

Fair play

Buying views, botting, view-trading, submitting someone else's clip, duplicate accounts, or any other artificial inflation of metrics is prohibited. We may withhold or claw back earnings from clips we determine — at our reasonable discretion — to be artificially inflated or in breach of these terms, and may suspend or terminate the account involved.

Content and licenses

Campaign source material stays ours (or its rights holders'); we license it to you only for making clips for that campaign. You keep ownership of your edits, but you grant us a non-exclusive license to display your submitted clips and their performance data within the platform (for example on campaign pages and leaderboards).

YouTube and connected accounts

YDEHM uses YouTube API Services. By using the features that connect to or read from YouTube, you are also agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy, our handling is described in our privacy policy, and you can revoke YDEHM's access to your Google data at any time in your Google security settings or by disconnecting the account in your dashboard.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy for how). We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms; verified earnings that aren't subject to a fraud investigation will still be paid out.

Disclaimers

The service is provided as-is, without warranties. We don't guarantee that campaigns will always be available, that platform APIs will report metrics without error, or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amounts we owe you in unpaid verified earnings.

Changes

If these terms change materially, we'll update this page and the effective date above, and note the change prominently on the site. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
